Kurt Andersen on Resetting Our Economy the Right Way

“It’s the end of the world as we’ve known it,” Kurt Andersen writes in his book Reset, “but it isn’t the end of the world.” In his book, Andersen explains why the current economic crisis is actually an historic moment of great opportunity to get ourselves and the nation back on track.

Kurt Andersen is an American novelist who is also host of the Peabody-winning public radio programStudio 360, a co-production between Public Radio International and WNYC. In 1986 with E. Graydon Carter he co-founded Spymagazine, which they sold in 1991; it continued publishing until 1998. Previously he was a writer and columnist for New York Magazine, The New Yorker and Time, where he wrote on a wide variety of subjects.
