Howard Guttman on Shifting Focus to Achieve Results

Howard Guttman has several tools for how to achieve any goal, from getting the promotion to quitting smoking, as just two examples. One way is to change the stories we tell ourselves; change the narrative we think we’re in to change the outcome. If we think we’re in a no-win situation, the results will match. Howard also recommends realizing what the intended outcome is and focusing on that and also to always remember to ask for help.

Howard M. Guttman is the Founder and President of the Guttman Development Strategies Inc. It’s a management consulting firm specializing in executive coaching, building high performance teams, strategic and organizational alignment, and management development training. Howard was named as one of today’s top thought leaders by Leadership Excellence magazine.
