Rafiq Dossani discusses India’s growing role in the global economy in his new book India Arriving (AMACOM Books). India has the world’s fourth largest economy, the largest youth population, and the current ranking of the second-most-preferred destination for foreign investment, yet its importance to the worldwide market seems to be swept under the rug. Rafiq’s book provides a deeper understanding of a country that promises to be the next major player in the world economy.
Rafiq Dossani is a senior research scholar and executive director of the South Asia Initiative at Stanford University’s Asian Pacific Research Center. Rafiq was the CEO of the Robert Fleming Investment group’s India operations, editor of Business India Weekly, and was also a professor of finance at Pennsylvania State University.
Also Dave Summers talks with Jacqueline Flynn and Christina Parisi of AMACOM Books about other exciting AMACOM titles.
